TV not recognizing Xbox one's connection...

...TV not recognizing signal from Xbox1 list of things I've tried.

-Restarted xbox

-Unplugged everything from Xbox

-restarted TV

-Move HDMI cable to different ports

When I try to give my xbox1 commands or I turn my controller on it briefly says "audio only" before going back to no signal.

I had this problem yesterday and I just unplugged everything and it worked fine afterwards.

So I pulled out another tv and put the HDMI cable in that one and it works fine, but rather it work on my original tv.

I am having problems so the TV does not recognize the Xbox. I can not play because of this problem, besides not recognizing when it ends up recognizing that it is black screen

Here's a guide on troubleshooting display settings:

support.xbox.com/.../tv-or-monitor-screen-is-blank-while-connected

Under "Your screen is blank after you power on the console," try the suggestion to reset display settings; you seem to have attempted most other things.

One thing to check: when you disconnected and reconnected it all, are you sure you put the HDMI cable in the right port on the One? It needs to be connected to HDMI OUT, which is the one closest to the power supply's connection.

HDMI cable is connected to the OUT port.

The reset display settings did not work.

Do I really have to buy a HDMI cable just for this to make the thing I paid $500 for to work the way it was working for the last 3 months?

Update: There are some instances where the visual flashes up for a sec or two and then shows "No signal" again

Hi Oskayra,

I've used the same cable. On multiple devices that would accept other devices but the Xbox one x.

A Nintendo switch is connected successfully with a cable to the tv. I've switched it to the Xbox one x but the tv doesn't recognize a signal.

I'm having the same problem. My TV is not recognizing the xbox one thru hdmi but it recognizes the cable box and computer. I've tried different hdmi ports on different TVs, it's not working properly. Somehow the xbox one can still turn on and off the TV.

I assume you tested with another cable, maybe exchanged with something else in household using hdmi.

I've had sudden stop like that on a computer, and bending cable a little display came back. So some wire in there broke.

My PNY 128gb usb flash drive that was connected to my XBOX One when updated is no longer recognized by my TV's USB Media port either. It is still recognized by all my computers. This is saddening, luckily I have a 16gb Media drive that is still recognized
by both.

I've tried all types of formatting of the 128gb drive and nothing is working, kinda frustrating really!
