    TV Not Connecting


    When I tried turning on my Xbox One S, it would not connect to my TV. My Xbox is working as in wearing my headphones lets me hear all of the correct sounds, but my TV says nothing is connected. This happened to me twice before and I was able to fix it by
    unplugging everything for about an hour, but this time nothing is working. I've tried unplugging again and reversing the HDMI cable, but it still won't connect. I had it on for about 12 hours in total (not consecutive) yesterday if that has any affect. If
    anyone has ideas on how to fix this please reply.

    Here is some "literature" to make my point.

    Read the section "connecting with HD leads", make a note of point 3 where it states after connecting the leads TURN ON YOUR TV.

    How are you connecting the xbox to the TV?

    Not all HDMI ports on your TV will be HDCP enabled, so try each port until it works.

    Make sure you're using the correct port and you select the right Source with the TV remote to display X360 screen.

    you should be able to, but picture quality will be reduced. (its also fairly cheap way to find out)
