TV (LG OLED 55B6V) loses signal when switching from HDR to SDR

I got my Xbox One X this Tuesday and played the whole day. Since that evening though, I have a strange problem that my TV loses signal with the Xbox One X when I start a game or go back to the Home screen. After a while the pictures comes back up.

My Xbox One X is connected on HDMI 4 on my LG OLED. From there my TV is via ARC connected to my receiver.

I restored my Xbox One X but with no luck unfortunately. When I start a game it kicks into HDR mode. When I go back to Home.. to

screen turns black.. TV is giving me the message it's losing signal and after a short while the Home screen comes back on the TV.

Also, when I want to switch the Video settings from 24 bits per pixel to 30 bits per pixel. The screen went black and it takes too long to keep the new settings so it's constantly reverting back to the old setting.

It doesn't always happen.. but sometimes. That makes it very strange. I'm using the original HDMI cable that came with the Xbox One X.

I am enrolled in the Insider Preview Beta, don't know if that makes any difference?

Xbox One S 3D movies do not play until HDR is turned off

My Xbox One S does not play 3D movies until i turn off HDR mode. When i put in my 3d movie, it will constantly lose the signal, and keep trying to read the movie. I have tried turning on 3d on the TV first prior to launching the
bluray app, turning off and on the TV, and switching out HDMI cables, but nothing worked until i turned off HDR mode. As soon i turn off HDR mode on the TV, 3D signal is immediately detected. If I turn the HDR back on, It will do the same thing again upon
the next boot-up of XBOX until i turn off the HDR mode. It does this on both of my premium Samsung SUHD TV and my LG Oled TV. I would greatly appreciate help in resolving this issue. I have read others on AV forums that are also having the same issue.

LG B7 hdr work around

I had no luck by plugging my brand new Xbox one x Scorpio in to my LG B7 OLED TV and detecting it's features like hdr, 10 bit color etc. on any of the four HDMI ports.

But when I plug my Scorpio in to my LG s9 sound bars HDMI in then the sound bars HDMI out in to the TV the Scorpio detected all the features perfectly.

Hope that helps people with LG OLED issues who have that sound bar.

 

I am having a similar issue with the LG 65SJ8500. Signal loss when switch between HDR (Games + Netflix) and HD (home screen). Weird thing is HDR blue ray disk plays fine and switches back fine.

 

Any updates on this issues? I'm experiencing a similar problem with my LG OLEDB7. Not sure if i should return my xbox one x since i bought it only a day ago.

 

I have this issue as well, but only when HDR and YCC 4:2:2 is enabled in the video settings. My TV is LG OLED B6 and goes trough an AVR, Denon x1400H, not using ARC.
