Discus and support TV keeps blinking in and out in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have AT&T the box is a Motorola, model is VIP12000. My TV is a Sharp Aquos model is LC 60LE64OU.     TV keeps blinking in and out


    I have AT&T the box is a Motorola, model is VIP12000. My TV is a Sharp Aquos model is LC 60LE64OU. I didn't have a problem with this when I had Verizon but now I have AT&T U-verse. I had AT&T come out and look at it they say that its the Xbox and that there
    is probably something wrong with the HDMI port. Can someone help me please.

    Blinking Black Screen of Death

    So my screen just keeps flashing to black as if the HDMI is loose.

    I've tried everything from using my brother's cables, a different TV, hard resets, resetting to factory settings, changing power mode..

    Sometimes it might work for 15 minutes to an hour without blinking to black, but eventually it always returns to blinking every 5 - 10 seconds until it just completely flatlines.

    I'm pulling my hair out here. If someone out there knows what the hell I can do about this, it'd be greatly appreciated.

    First off, does your Xbox do the same thing when connected directly to the TV, instead of the receiver?
    It was the cable from AVR to TV for the 5h that i tested it was working fine.

    Can you shoot a video of the blinking and flashing with your smartphone, and do a YouTube link to that video or something like that? Just so we can understand what exactly you mean by blinking.

    Does the picture go out completely, or is the brightness going up and down, or is actual 3D geometry blinking and jumping around?

    It sounds like it could be a faulty port on the TV. Try to call the manufacturer and see if they have a problem with it.
