TV input - voices come through an octave or 2 lower than they should.

I've been noticing this since the last update on my Raspberry Pi that I have on the tv input (running raspbmc). This had been working great since I got my console day one, not with the most recent update when watching a movie or tv show the voices seem much
deeper than they should be. To the point where a female talking will sound like a deep male voice. Plugging the pi into the tv directly work as it should, but going back to the xbox it will start doing it again after awhile.

Noticed there was someone who posted about this in the preview forums and didn't get any reply's so thought I would post up here to try to get some more exposure.

    Headset Solution

Microsoft here is what you could and should make as the default headset with the xbox / kinect bundle.

Use Kincet as the voice input and bundle a small comfortable wireless ear piece with a mute button on it. The voice chat output comes through the ear piece leaving the game sund to come through your tv. The mute works just like always but since the ear
piece doesn't have an input, it mutes the input on the Kinect.

This would provide a comfortable power saving solution. Think about it...

    Observations - major items

First things first - I dig the X1 and I understand WE are all beta testers. MS can't be expected to anticipate every problem which is why these forums are helpful for them to make the system better... The tv pass through feature was most attractive to
me. No longer needing to switch inputs sounded great. 1 - If on TV, When I change inputs to Apple TV or the 360, when I come back the tv signal is lost. I have to launch another app before switching or I have to reboot the X1 and or unplug my cable box to
cycle it. This CAN'T be what was intended. 2 - Kinect has trouble hearing me because I have a home theater system. So I have to mute the receiver in order to give voice commands. Not sure if there is a fix other than having the volume low all the time. 3 -
Stop listen after you choose tv. The hud overlay is lame and I don't use it. I should be able to turn off that overlay because if you don't say stop listening, it lingers for 10 seconds... 4 - Audio separation. Since I'm optical out of the X1, I should be
able to farm kill in Borderlands 2 on the 360 while still hearing X1 tv audio. For some reason the HDMI OUT supersedes the audio and drops off if I change the video input. Not ideal. Hope these items can/will be addressed.

TV input - voices come through an octave or 2 lower than they should.

Sounds like there is a problem with the sample rate of the audio in-/output. 48khz vs. 44,1khz. I have the same problem sometimes with my cable receiver. Looks like the One sometimes is not getting the right sample rate. With my receiver it fixes itself
when I change the TV Program and force the One to renegotiate the audio input sample rate that way . Is there any way you can configure your audio output on your raspberry?
