TV function not working!

Discus and support TV function not working! in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Have Rogers cable at home and tried running cable through xbox one and oneguide.     TV function not working!


    Have Rogers cable at home and tried running cable through xbox one and oneguide. Only worked for a few mins after setup and then get black or blue screen every other time. Have tried getting new Rogers cable box, new high speed HDMI cable, even exchanged
    xbox for new one. Still doesn't work. What's the deal? Anyone else having this problem?

    Update: The reason the Xbox Live TV function was not working was due to my Elgato Game Capture HD being hooked up. Everything is now resolved.

    Xbox turns TV on but NOT off

    Same experience coinciding with Preview Update. I used to be able to do both functions (TV on and TV off) without issue, but now only the ON feature is working

    No, from what I've found you have to have the X1 on for the TV function to work.

    GooD Tips: The headset USB kit can be connected to the TV,
    most new TVs support this function, but the microphone does not work :(

    So it's a half and half approach...

    Media Remote Compatibility with Soyo MT-SYTPT3718AB 37-Inch LCD HDTV

    I purchased the new Xbox Media Remote and was able to find a code that worked from the list of Soyo codes provided (the code for this TV is 1746).

    The TV power button functions as expected to turn the TV on and off.

    Volume, Mute, and Input buttons function properly.

    The Guide, Back, Last, and Disp buttpms don't seem to work.

    Changing the channel doesn't work with this code either.

    The net result is that it works fine if you want to use the remote to power on your TV, switch to Xbox input, and control the volume as you play content - but it's not really compatible with this TV as far as channel surfing and other features are concerned.

    They said the tv function should work with ANY provider, as long as you have an hdmi out box.
