    TV cutting out


    I have Comcast & use the HD digital adapter.

    While watching TV on the Xbox One it will cut out at random times to a black screen. Most of the time it is just for a few seconds, but sometimes it lasts longer and I have to close the TV app and restart it. Other TVs in the house do not have this problem,
    only the one connected to the Xbox One.

    I have tried switching out the HD adapter with another one, tried other HDMI cables, turned off instant on. Nothing has changed, still blacks out.

    Please help, it is very annoying.

    I have the audio out on my tv. But was wondering if you could just use the kinect to communicate instead of attaching the other headset. Is it easy to communicate with teammates? Can you hear them in your x11 without it cutting the game audio cutting
    out?

    Audio still cutting out after second Xbox one

    Was running at 1080. Just set my resolution down to 720 and my audio stopped cutting out immediately. Not sure if my TV is rated for 1080.

    Not to be that guy but... Do you have the latest XBox update? If you do then have you tried connecting the HDMI cable directly from the Xbox to the TV, bypassing the adapter? The fact that you are using an adapter may be the issue. Another thing to try is
    to go into your XBox settings and ensure that audio & video settings are the same between your Xbox and your STB. When I first got the XB1 I was having a similar issue and eventually I matched up the settings and the problem went away.

    Yes, I have the latest update.

    The HD adapter is for the cable TV. The coax cable comes into the house, connects to the adapter, and then a HDMI cable goes from the adapter into the XboxOne. Then the HDMI cable goes from the XboxOne to the stereo receiver then finally from the receiver
    to the TV.

    This has worked just fine since I got the XboxOne last year, but over the past few months the TV has been having this black out problem.

    Audio Intermittently cuts out for TV

    I am seeing a lot of people having this same issue with a variety of tv providers. I myself have this issue with Charter. Glad to know that I am not the only one.

    Also, try to hook up your TV through your Xbox One, see if the audio cuts out there. That might help narrow the issue down. If the audio doesn't cut out it is another issue, perhaps HDD reading related when games can't read the HDD quick enough to play audio
    properly, if audio does still cut out but not when the TV is plugged into the TV directly then it could be HDMI port/cable related.

    Also, try plugging your Xbox One into a different HDMI slot on your TV if you have multiple and see if it is the TV port causing the cutting out.

    You really shouldn't run your Xbox One at 1080 if your TV is only 720p. You won't see any improvements and are just adding extra work onto the Xbox for no real benefit. If you switch TV to 1080p later then by all means change the console setting.
