TV constantly flickering after hard reboot

    TV constantly flickering after hard reboot


    Over the past couple days, an issue popped up where I could not play games (Forza) , watch video (tv, Netflix, etc), kinect kept turning on/off every few seconds, and there was no sound. I unplugged all cables and hooked them back up, to no avail. I tried
    a separate DVD player, thinking maybe I had issues with my tv, stereo system, or the cables themselves. This worked perfectly fine and when I went back to the xbox, no dice. In looking thru the forums, it was recommended that I do a hard reboot on the xbox,
    which seemed to do the trick.

    However, now when I watch tv thru the xbox, it's a constant flickering that is completely unbearable. No other application or game has this happening. I have hooked the cable box directly to the tv and have no issues. Ive vet tried doing another hard
    reboot on the xbox and it did not correct the issue.

    Any thoughts?

    Xbox one welcome

    on my tv screen in the center bottom it says "Hi and my name" it is on constantly and I can not remove it. Please help. I have tried a hard reboot.

    Live TV picture is flickering.

    Xbox One recognizes my TV along with my Comcast HD cable box, yet the picture's contrast/brightness is constantly flickering. Any ideas xbox support (or fellow community members)? Thank you.

    I also noticed this. I disconnected my HDMI cables from the xbox, cable box, and tv and was able to get the flickering to go away. However, I get very choppy audio when watching tv (does not seem to effect other apps such as netflix, etc). The choppy
    audio started within the past 24 hours or so., the flickering only happened just moments ago.

    When I turned on the system this morning, I noticed the system seemed rather slow when booting up, and then it had me go thru the set up for connecting the cable box (what was done when I first hooked up the system).

    I suspect there was an update that happened within the past 24-48 hours that is the cause of this.

    Things in the new update

    Disabling hand gestures would be real nice. It pops up constantly while watching tv. Can we also fix the black screen issue it's very annoying doing a hard reboot several times a day.
