Tv configuration App Not working

Hey, all! Can everyone except Johnny above me post back if you're still having this issue? I'd like to gather some information from you all about this. Also please post your region (what country you're in) so that I can pass that along, too. I want to thank
you for your patience and your help!

 

I've been having this issue for over a week now. Contacted support and they told me they were aware of the issue and working on a fix and to check the app again in 24 hours. It's been 5-6 days since then and it is still hanging on the "starting TV setup"
bit. What's funny is it worked fine for 6 months then one morning just started doing this for no reason. I'm from the U.S. with Comcast as a provider.

I've been having lots of issues ever since either the June or July update. One of the monthly updates bricked my console and forced me to do a factory reset via usb. Then I had a bug where the store app would just kick me back to dash and open some weird
help page. Now this. It is starting to get ridiculous. This is not what I paid for.

 

I´m still having this issue but the behaviour has changed since one of the last beta-updates:

The loading circle doesn´t appear anymore, instead I only see the tv icon.

After a minute or so an error message appears:

Try it again. Starting of TV took to long (0x8027025a)

My setup:

• unitymedia hdc-601der cable receiver
• Acer HD 7532 BD
• Onkyo 515
• Unitymedia is the cable company
• NRW in Germany

Hey all I am also having this issue for awhile now. The TV app just sits at the loading screen forever and nothing happens at all. I also can not get into the Display settings.

If anyone knows when or how this will be fixed please let me know.

Does a factory reset fix your issues?

For vogelinho it hasn't and we're working with the user to get the problem solved.

 

If anyone knows the fix or hopefully Xbox gets this issue fixed please let me know.

Strange how it just sits at the loading screen and also I can't get into the Display settings at all.

I had the spinning wheel for several weeks. Chatted with support, did lots of things but in the end unfortunately the only thing that worked was a factory reset. It did fix the problem though.

 

Do we have any further developments from Support what's causing this issue yet?

still having the issue. Just checked this thread again to see if there was a solution. I'm located in the US, been having this issue since June. I've tried holding down the power button and doing multiple resets. For now it's hard wired to the tv with nothing
going through the Xbox. Which sucks to be honest seeing how it worked great the first 5 months I had it. I can't pull up the tv or the tv settings, it just sits on the blank tv screen. If I try to go to the settings it just bumps me out to the home screen.
I would try restoring the factory settings but don't have an external to pull all my content on to and am not even sure that would solve the problem. Really really want this to work so I don't have to keep switching inputs and using 3 remotes. Thanks for
