Tv configuration App Not working

Hello.

the tv configuration App is Not working for me. It. keeps loading and loading and nothing happens. Closing the and restarting the xbox doesn' t help.

What can i do?

If you have a Windows 10 PC, Check in your Xbox App in configurations the "Teredo Ip adress" If it isnt working, try reseting your Router.

 

Yep same prob mate bet u can't get into your display settings either, when I try to set up my TV ( toshiba) it says my brand can't be found even tho it's listed.

 

I assume you mean in smartglass? I had this too and the solution is to manually log out of smartglass and then log in again.... fixed mine and a lot of other folks...

 

Since the update I'm having the same issue with Live TV where it's stuck on the 'Starting TV setup...' screen. I've been through a number of possible fixes with Microsoft (including a factory reset & reinstalling the update) but nothing has worked. My next
call will be asking for a new console.

Is everyone experiencing the same symptom - when opening TV you get stuck at "Starting Live TV Setup"? Or are there different symptoms being reported here?

 

Having the same issues. Could be something to do with the external hard drive maybe, not had time to troubleshoot yet though.

Some ideas to try maybe?

1. Make the Xbox One drive the primary drive, while the external drive is still plugged in

2. Try with the external hard drive unplugged

No idea if this will make a difference, but this issue only started for me since I got an external drive. Unless others are having the same issue with no external hard drive?

 

I have this same problem as well and it started 6/11/2014. TV App was working fine the evening of 6/10/2014.

The only things hooked into my X1 is the Kinect, controller, power and formerly the satellite receiver.

 

Bump. Same problem. TV worked fine a few days ago. Switched to directv. Worked good for 4 hours then got stuck on "starting tv setup" screen. Frustrating. Hard wired STB directly to tv for now. No solution still?

 

Same issue. Had tv set up for awhile now. Just started setup out of the blue and spins non stop. I did a factory reset and it worked for a couple days, now it's back. Also i can't get into display setting as well.

 

I´m having the same issue again.

I think that is because i changed some settings in the tv-configuration.

Will do a factory reset again...

 

Thread needs bumping because I'm still getting the same issue. I unplugged the SKY box from my xbox one and directly plugged it straight into my TV, as I was getting frustrated with the issue.

Thought I'd plug my SKY box back into the xbox one today hoping the issue had been resolved, but the TV app constantly loads (see previous posts above). I know its not my HDMI cable because I used the exact same one to plug directly into my TV.

Could support look into this a little further maybe?
