TV channel voice command not working properly

    TV channel voice command not working properly


    When I was changing my channel by voice command to Disney XD by saying "Disney XD", it only senses that I said "Disney" and changes to Disney Channel instead. I bet it shouldn't be working that way. I would be changing it to Disney Channel by saying "Disney
    Channel". I never had this problem before.

    DirecTV Voice Command to change channel doesn't work - most other commands work. HR23-700 or HR24-200

    TV voice commands to change channel don't work. I can see the Oneguide & can voice command to move up or down. I have sound and TV picture. My Controller doesn't work to select the channel either.

    While watching TV most other voice commands work. Tested the IR & it does blink when I say a command; Xbox hears me fine - words show up typed in upper right corner 'Xbox Select', 'Mute', "Volume UP/Down". tried set up on two TV's Mitsubshi & Vizio & two
    DVR DirecTV receivers HR23-700 & HR24-200. Issue same on both setups. The other commands not working are the icons on the bottom of the screen; rewind, pause, stop, etc. My units are not in a cabinet.

    What Feature Would You Like To See?

    For TV voice commands, the ability to say the channel number instead of the station name, also the ability to say "Xbox previous channel"

    OneGuide functionality in the UK

    I am from Russia. I recently bought a Xbox One. It works fine and understands my voice commands in English.

    In Xbox One (OneGuide) no support for Russian cable television providers. And no voice commands to change channels.

    I'd like to have voice commands: NEXT CHANNEL, PREVIOUS CHANNEL and CHANNEL [NUMBER CHANNEL].

    I've noticed the same exact issue. I went ahead and already put show all SD and HD channels but still missing numerous channels. For now I just use my TV remote in conjunction with my Kinect Voice Commands. I even tried using the Voice Command for one channel
    that wasn't showing (NFLNET) and it wouldn't pull up that channel but it displays fine using the TV remote.

    @Awesome, He still didn't switch actual channels with voice commands when he was in TV mode.

    xbox 1 not changing the channels on vip 722 receiver

    Same situation here dish vip722 is is detected by xb1 and so is my tv but no voice commands to change channel's. .. my ir remote code is set to 1 it was on 27 before I followed steps to correct that but still no luck in voice commands changing channels thru
    one guide. ....
