  1. TV capable of taking advantage of the Xbox Series X (capable of running games 4k at 60fps)

Hello, I just purchased an Xbox Series X for someone that prefers to game on a TV and was wondering if there are any TVs preferably sized somewhere between 36"-50" that are able to handle 4K gaming at 60fps for under $400.

The tv I was looking at was a VIZIO - 43" Class V-Series LED 4K UHD SmartCast TV that supposedly comes equipped with an HDMI 2.1 port. Would this work? If this wouldn't work, are there any sub-$400 TVs that would?

    Thanks in advance.

    :)

    LG Oled and Series S

Well no the xbox series s isn't capable of 4k 120hz video games it's not even capable of 4k 60hz

    That's the series x

The best the series s can do is 1440p

The reason why you aren't getting any signal is because the series s isn't capable of it

    Only in streaming not gaming

This is the offical.ms.papers on series s

    https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/consoles/xbox-series-s

As noted it's only capable of 120hz on 1440p in games and 4,k 120hz on streaming

Not a lot of games support 4k 120hz even on xbox series x

Even on backwards compatibility games it's a max of 60fps with yakuza running at 900 frames

You gotta remember it's upscaled not native

Hence the lesser space requirements for series s

xbox series x advertises as a 4k 120hz console but barely any games can run that "false advertisement"

If its capable of performing as advertised i wouldn't be here i wouldn't be here if games was running a full native 4k 60fps but its not even capable of that its performing 1/4 of advertised performance you can try and defend false advertisement all you want but it shouldn't say 4k 120hz on the box ! It doesn't on the last gen consoles it just says 4k they also lied saying the series x is more powerful than the ps5 but its not

Best TV for XBOX ONE X

The LG UHD 4K TVs are really nice and capable of running 4K for the Xbox One X. They are a little more affordable compared to Samsung.

Get a Series S and keep my One X or get a Series X and sell my One X?

Do Xbox One games play better on the Series X? Would I really notice the difference in performance between the Series S and Series X on a 4K LG TV bought for £300 in 2019?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Yes, many games that had performance issues with hitting their target frame rate of 60fps on the Xbox One or One X largely run flawlessly on the Series X. They can do this because they can use the Series X hardware to power their way through these games that struggled to run on the previous hardware.

The Series S is technically a downgrade compared to the old One X. Yes, the series S has a faster CPU and more advanced GPU in that it is capable of Ray Tracing, but the One X graphics processor is still faster. The Series S is an entry level console for people who have never owned a console (or an Xbox console) before. The Series S isn't a 4K (3840x2160) console either. Most games run under 1440P (2560x1440) which will not look great on a 4K TV. So, yes, you would most certainly notice the difference in picture quality.

The Series X can also play all of your disc based Xbox games, and has more internal storage.
