    TV blinks black


    So i picked up my xbox one X last night. Conencted it to my Bose lifestyle 600 A/V receiver and on set up was asked if i want to use 4k i said yes and everything was fine for 30minutes and then every 1-5 minutes the TV would flash black for 1sec, i tried
    restarting xbox and tv and the whole setup, but nothing helps, but when i switch to 1080p it seems to work fine. anyone had issue like this ?

    Xbox One S and Vizio E48U-D0 Black Screen WHile watching Movies

    Just got a new Xbox One S and am currently running it through a Vizio E48U -D0 4k TV and while watching DVDs, Blu-Rays it will randomly blink a black screen. I changed the settings to 1080p from 4K and it still blinks the black screen probably for about
    3 seconds about 5-6 times during a movie.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    When it blinks to the black screen and comes back does it show what resolution it is set at?

    I have found that on my tv even though it is a 1080p Full HDTV Samsung, I cannot have my console display resolution set for 1080p on my tv. The only way to have it not blink to a black screen is to have the console set at 720p instead.

    This may explain why it works on the smaller 22" tv and your kids TV. Just a thought, it may not be the issue but sounds similar so it could help.

    It was the cable from AVR to TV for the 5h that i tested it was working fine.

    Youre having an HDCP (copy protection) error. Try a new HDMI cable that is 2.0 certified, and if that doesnt work it sounds like the hdmi port needs repair
    The cable that im using is the hdmi that came with the xbox, how do i know if a hdmi cable is 2.0 certified?
