TV audio lower than prior to June Update

Anyone else notice that TV audio (coming through HDMI and out to A/V receiver) is lower than prior to the June Update? I used to balance the receiver audio around 50 (out of 100) when watching TV, but now I have to go up as high as 65 to get the same volume
    level.

Known issue? I tried a powered reset (holding the power button until the console restarted itself) but that didn't seem to help).

    :)

  2. After update Xbox One/Kinect Will not Turn of Soundbar

Same here, I have the Samsung HWF450 hooked up to the Samsun 65" LED TV and noticed that it does not turn on or off with the Xbox "On" or "Off" Command since the update as well. I thought by re-doing all the functions of inputting my TV, Cable Box, and
Audio Bar would work, but it still doesnt. It worked prior to the update.

Netflix is buffering in Sub SD- Please Fix

Looks like the June patch fixed it...thanks.

Having another issue related to the new patch...

The audio is now very low... I tried playing with the stereo and Dolby5.1 settings with no improvement.

Anyone else have trouble with their audio... at first I hear speech really low volume but effects high.

Now after switching to stereo...the sound in inconsistent.

I know they were turning the down the volume when TV was playing when playing inside the home screen. That might have thrown off your settings. Maybe now 65 is your new normal for a good TV/sound balance.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed that (it's actually a nice feature). When in the home screen, it's quieter than when in focus. But man, it is SUCH a dramatic difference to have the TV app playing so much lower than apps and games. Just today I was watching
Netflix and it was LOUD at 50. Played some Watch_dogs and it was also a great volume at round 50-55.

Maybe this is the new normal, but just seems odd that they would need to adjust that particular sound source so low but leave everything else alone. Perhaps someone official will comment on this.

Xbox Series X May 12 update broke my audio

Same issue here. No audio from my tv at all unless I’m on headset mode. Newest update seems to be the cause since it was working just fine prior. Isn’t even showing all the audio options it should be either

Sounds coming from headphones and TV at the same time is normal for the console...the other day I left my stereo on (my TV is wired through it) and couldn't work out why the audio from my headphones sounded different!

As to the audio through a headset being lower quality, that would depend really....if the audio signal for the headset is coming directly from the Xbox (wireless headset or wired), then I'd argue it's better quality than that carried to the TV via the HDMI cable. For me, my wireless headset is plugged into my controller (using an adapter) and the sound quality is miles better than the TV is capable of (is even better than my very good stereo too)
