TV app not working anymore

So I just purchased my Xbox One about three weeks ago and everything was working just fine and I was very happy with it. All fo a sudden, yesterday, the TV app just started saying it wasn't receiving a signal (had a picture showing me where to plug in the
HDMI cable). I unplugged/plugged in wires, tried a hard reset, and nothing worked. I have a Cablevision Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4250HD STB. Also, ever since I did get my Xbox, my cable box would start to freeze and have to reset itself, which would take
like 5 minutes. Anyone know if these issues are related and how to fix. Thanks in advance for any help

Live TV Not Working Anymore

I have had my cable box hooked up to my box One since launch and it has not had any problems until last night. I have everything set up to where the Xbox One will turn my tv on and control my cable box. Now everything turns on except the tv. When I go into
settings and try to access tv Xbox One guide it tells me that the tv took too long to respond. Does anybody have any solutions for a quick fix without resetting the console and losing all of my content? Thanks in advance.

Live TV Not Working Anymore

I am having the same issue. I noted that there was an XBox One Update a few days ago, now my TV is freezing, I have placed 2 sets one with the Xbox One, and another Full Cable system. The XBOX One Is freezing video, and will not process the TV at all.

Microsoft, if you want to be the "entertainment middle man, you best fix this issue, as of now, I am taking the Xbox out of the loop of my TV. This is beyond silly.

Well we can't watch tv anymore. Please fix this issue with highest priority. The most important app on a tv is watching live tv. If that doesn't work you've failed.

I made it home and tried the power cycle option and it worked instantly for me. This option does work if your having problems with the tv portion of Xbox One. After the console is already on just touch the power button on the console for 10 seconds until
it shuts off. I waited 1 minute instead of 30 seconds but that's your decision. Now instead of saying xbox on first to turn the console back on do it manually. then you'll be able to go to the settings and see if everything is still stored correctly. After
that test it by saying watch then test the on off ability. Good luck. Hope it works!

I wonder if it's from switching my home network to IPv6 only last night when I had IPv4 & IPv6 enabled then switched it back to use both again? My Xfinity was working great up until last night. I think when I get home I'm going to try a power cycle. I'll
hold the power button down for 10 seconds, let it turn off, then unplug it for 30 seconds then plug it back in and power it back up. Hopefully it will work. If you want to try it, let me know if it works.
