TV app crashes and seems like a beta product

Please fix the TV app.

I've had frequent issues where the TV app would crash, the app would try to adjust the tv zoom/aspect ratio and then a channel would get stuck in a weird 1/3 of the screen view, and a lot of the time when going to the TV app, I would get the "For some reason
TV took too long to start (0x8027025a)."

In order to resolve these issues, I would end up having to power off the Xbox One completely and wait a while, then turn it back on. Or I would have to power it off and unplug the power brick.

It got to the point when I just disconnected the cable box from the Xbox One so I would watch TV reliably. It's not like i'm some moron who doesn't know how to operate electronics or software either. I've been gaming for 15-20 years and have worked in IT
for 15 years. I know Microsoft products well.

Is there any information as to when the TV app will get an significant update/service pack/bug fix?

Xbox App Crashes Constantly

Both the Xbox app and beta version of the app constantly crash for me. At times it'll be fine with no issues for hours, and other days, it will literally crash every 30 seconds or so. It crashes when I open messages, it randomly disconnects me from parties,
and it just generally will crash randomly. I have no issues with any other application on my PC, and I have a strong internet connection. I also keep the app up to date, and every single update I haven't seen this fixed. This seems to be a persistent problem
that it seems like they will never do anything about. really have not seen any improvements to the app over the past year or so that I've been using it. When will this issue change? I'm never able to use it due to the frequent crashing.

That is literalyl ALL of the apps too.

 

I wish. That big patch better fix the stability of all the apps at LEAST.

There is no official timeline that I can provide at the moment, it is in the works. There could be other things that may resolve the issue you are seeing, but more information would be necessary (it sounds like you know the score). If interested let me know.
