    Tv and xbox aren't playing nice!


    i can't get my new Sharpe Roku tv tho recognize my xbox one s. The cable is connected correctly and for a couple of days the connection worked just fine. Now it thinks the xbox is off when out is one.

    I have tried reversing the cable. Cold reboot. Cold reboot with eject button held. Tried different hdmi ports. Any other suggestions?

    Blu Ray and DVD's aren't playing properly

    My xbox will not play DVD's. It won't even read the DVD. It only reads Blu Ray discs which is ironic.

    And literally every blu ray movie it plays, somewhere in the middle of the movie it will glitch out, skip, and then the screen just turns into glitches.

    I've tried everything; Including restarting the console, and Power Cycle (several times), nothing will work. I even tried deleting the app and re installing it several times, getting the same result no matter how brand new the disc is.

    I don't get it. It plays games just fine, but it won't play a movie properly. Ive had this issue for 3 months and nothing has worked.

    Is there an actual fix to this, or is Microsoft just trolling me?

    Oh and also, sometimes when I put a blu ray in; it freezes, and it refuses to let me eject the disc.

    Xbox One is on     support article. This will have a few of the steps you've already done, plus a few more.

    Also what model of TV is it? I see the brand, but is there a specific model for it? Curious about it's HDCP settings. Or if there are updates for the TV that aren't playing nice with the Xbox latest updates?

    Downloading the USB update and waiting for it to transfer to USB. The TV is a Panasonic Viera GT60b (plasma TV). It has not got any updates in the last 2 years. So, I believe it is the Xbox update that is not playing nice with this old TV.
