turtlebeach stealth 600 headset

I have an xbox one x and cannot get my headset to hear chat or anyone to hear my chat. I can hear the game but no chat. I have gone in and adjusted my settings on my xbox one to allow everyone to hear and talk. Just got back from the store because my first
pair did the same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this problem. I have 14 days to return this headset. thanks in advance.

Hi there

Please also make sure that your account doesn't have restrictions, have you also tried a different controller to make sure there is no jack port issue damage on the controller.

Thank you for the response. My headset worked on another game so apparently COD ghost download has problem with wireless headsets and chats. Thanks again for the help!

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully utilize your wireless headset as intended. I can totally understand how this could be a pretty perplexing and disheartening an issue to deal with. Are you plugging it in directly into your
controllers?

You might need to try a
stereo adapter if you are able to. It's specifically designed to help third party headsets like Turtle Beach, Astros and the like connect to and work with our platform and may be needed according to Turtle Beach's

page on it.

Give that a shot if possible and let us know if that helped.

This headset is wireless. I previously used a wired Turtle Beach headset. I never had issues with it, but was trying to get rid of the wires.

I checked for updates before I synced it with my xbox. It had all the current updates.
