    TurtleBeach Recon50x not working


    I recently purchased a turtle beach recon 50x, and it worked fine... at least, the headphones did. When I tried to play with my friends, they couldn't hear me. Any body have any fixes for this?? Sounds like problems w/ mic boom, but I really don't know.

    have you tried the official MS Stereo Chat adapter or the ones supplied by Turtlebeach?

    i had it at that point where it didnt work with the Turtlebeach supplied Chat adapter for the XO7 Pros but it worked fine with the MS Stereo Chat adapter.

    Mute icon is always displayed ( mic with line through it ) I was assuming the headset is not an "off breed" it is a turtle beach XBOX recon50x. Starting parties and testing in all aspects of the xbox nothing changes the icon and under settings the volume
    and mute buttons are "greyed out" and not accessible.

    MS has confirmed they are working with other manufacturers (I'd assume TurtleBeach) on creating adapters.

    There is not much else you can do except replace the part that is damaged/failed.

    The problem itself is not with the xbox, so there is not much we can tell you, but you could check if the headset does not have any false contact
