    I bought a brand new pair of TB XP510's definitely brand new as the packaging was still sealed. I was so excited to get these up and running as i have been looking for a pair of truly wireless headset and after reading reviews that these were one of the
    best i brought them.

    However ever since i have had them i have been having really bad disconnections and sometimes that annoying voice says goodbye and headset turns of on me. I contacted turtle beach about the problem and they just keep telling me to watch the video on how
    to set them up. I have watched the video 3 times and i have definitely set them up correctly. I thought maybe i was getting disconnection issues from my Xbox 360 Elite wireless adapter but i have an xbox 360 Slim as well and connected them up to that and still
    i am getting auido cutouts.

    I was wearing them yesterday and they suddenly had a spasm of about 3 second cut outs which lasted about 30 seconds. It is just totally getting on my nerves now and i cant enjoy playing my games especially Guitar hero, im playing a song and then getting
    audio cut out totally knocks me off.

    Has anyone had this problem and been able to fix the issue? Or any advice on what i could do? Also they have been updated to latest firmware.

    Turtle Beach XP510 issues

    I just got a pair of wireless Turtle Beach XP510 and they just dont sound right to me. I have done the controller update and messed with all the settings. I have a pair of wired Turtle Beach DX12 with the DSS sound processor that I also use and they sound
    great. I thought the XP510 would be better than the older DX12, The XP510 sound almost sound is muffled and just not full. The sound sometimes switches on its own and if I unplug the USB from the xbox and plug it back in the sound changes back. Anyone else
    having problems with the XP510 on the Xbox One? I would think the XP510 which was almost $300 when it came out would be much better than my old DX12 headphones.

    Heres my million dollar question:

    1. Will the "new" Turtle Beach XP510 ($300.00 headset) work with the "new" Xbox one console?

    I called Turtle Beach in New York today. They said, "Xbox would know if that headset (XP510) was compatible with the Xbox one". However, when I called Xbox today (and online), both customer service, and technical advisors were clueless as to the compatibility
    of the XP510 with the upcoming Xbox one. I thought that was halarious!

    I have the TB XP510s and they work great on both the 360, XB1 & PC. Another great pair of Turtle Beaches I used to have and you can usually get on sale are the XP400s. These 2 headsets are great

    New full wireless headset for Xbox One no more cord from controller!

    The turtle beach xp500 and xp510 are similar for the Xbox 360 you just use the Bluetooth attach it to the controller. It would be great if turtle beach made a completely wireless headset which didn't need any connection whatsoever (game sound and chat) to
    the controller and which will work on both 360 and 1. I have the turtle beach x42. The reason why I don't like the xp510 is that it has a rechargeable lithium ion battery instead of being able to use rechargeable energizer batteries or normal AA batteries.
    Lithium ion batteries aren't very reliable. My PC runs on a 6 cell battery is 3 years old (Windows 7 intel core i5) and now the battery depletes rapidly lasts half as long as when I brought the PC new (unless you like trying to source spear parts from turtle
    beach this can be a bit challenging especially if you don't live in the US/UK but instead live in NZ or Australia).

    I use the Turtle Beach XP510 model and love them. Never thought I'd use them much less buy 2 pair. I moved into a small apartment and have older neighbors. Out of respect for my neighbors I don't use my stereo. You cant go wrong with any Turtle Beach
    sets.

    Not all of the Turtle Beach headsets are compatible with the X1. You might not have a compatible headset. Compatible headsets are XP510, EarForce XP Seven's, XP400, & X42. If you don't have one of those it's not going to work.

    I'm also experiencing the same issue with my Wireless Headset (Turtle Beach Ear Force XP510). The optical out of the Xbox One connects to a wireless transmitter and after 15 minutes or so of watching video, the headphones turn off as though it hadn't been
    receiving any audio signal. I don't notice this issue with my other consoles. FWIW, HDMI output is disabled and I've set optical out to stereo.
