Turtle Beach XO4 setup hear sound but party won't show am speaking????????

Updated both my controllers as i should now i can hear game sound through the headset but when i set party up and talk the little red circle doesn't flash when speaking

what have i done wrong i have tried hard reset

Xbox One Headset adapter - can I just use it get in-game audio from headphones plugged into my wireless controller?

I've got turtle beach xo4 and use the headset adaptor and I can hear all game sounds and chat no problems

 

Headset adaptor issues??????

SInce the latest update my adaptor and turtle beach xo4 won't work no sound no light anyone had this problem.My headset worked great till the update come out.

Had the headset for 1 month

 

Does the little green (its green on my console) circle show at all next to your name in the party?

Does the mic work in a public lobby?

 

i know you probably have but i'll check anyway:

Have you updated the controller?

Are you part of the beta program?

Do you have kinect enabled for chat?

 

@davey its red on mine and yes there is a red circle but when i speak it doesn't flash like the standard headset did.

@ibakez controller updated and part of the beta and i don't have the kinect

 

Does the mic work in a public lobby? one way to check is load COD, go to start to find a public match, but before you click find match your in a lobby if when you chat the mic logo goes yellow its working.

Or does it work on skype etc, you need to establish if the mic is working at all.

(Another up for the kinect, if you had it, at least you could chat in party chat, and talk to people to find an issue)

 

I loaded battlefield up and i have a mic next to my name but when i talk it doesn't flash

 

Update fixed the issue Mic wasn't in properly

 

Change the cable round going from the adaptor to the headset.

Try again, take out the adaptor and put it back in

try again, turn off the headset

try again

If none of that works, you need to find out if the issue is the adapter, the cable, or the headset.

(you can't even test them on the 360 to find out if the mics working)
