    My headset works perfectly when I am connected to my wireless Xbox One controller to my Xbox One. When I connect the controller to my PC using the USB cable, and start a Windows 10 / Xbox One streaming session, I am able to hear the Xbox One audio through
    the headset but my headset's microphone doesn't work.

    I checked to make sure the headset isn't muted (it isn't), I tried clicking the Microphone icon in the top of the streaming window - didn't have any effect.

    I did notice that in my Windows Recording Devices section it doesn't appear to detect any audio being recorded. Might be a driver issue?

    Anyone else experience this and was able to resolve it?

    As was said, just the same headphones branded for X1 with an adapter. Now, if the Sevens are in my price range at launch I'll still get em, but for other people who might already have a set of either earphones these are based on, there's no point the way

    Personally I think the headset that comes with the Xbox One sucks. What really sucks is that we have to wait until December for good headsets to come out such as the Turtle Beach XO four and seven.

    Turtle Beach Headsets for both Xbox One and PS4 will be available at launch of their related systems. And considering this, if you look at the description for the new TB Headsets, it even says it comes with a chat adapter to use for the XBox One controllers.
    Indicating they will still be cross compatible with PC as well as the X1.

    So with this said, I am sure there will be an adapter available through Turtle Beach for older Headsets. Or at least sold separately that could be easily used with current headsets as the plug size is no different than the current one.
