Turtle Beach XO One not detected in party unless I update controller every single time

I switched to a new controller last week and updated it with my XO One headset adapter plugged in, but every time I join parties it tells me 'no mic detected'. I can fix this if I go into the settings and tell it to 'update controller' even when there is
no update available. Once it resets, I am able to talk and hear everyone in party just fine so long as my controller doesn't shut off. If it shuts off, I have to redo the whole process again. Simply turning the controller off and on again doesn't fix the problem.
I have to go under 'update controller'.

It's really annoying to go through this every time I join party. My headset still works correctly with the old controller so I feel like it's a problem with the new controller? Does anyone have any idea on how I can fix this?

Xbox one update has caused headset transmitter not to work!!!!!!

after the latest updates my turtles beaches are acting weird also, but mine are the xo 7's and plug into the controller, no audio unless i keep pressing the audio effect button multiple times then the audio comes on, if the controllers go off then the same
thing happens. seems these updates are not nice to turtle beach.

 

Questions about headset please answer

Now am purchasing two headset layer today.turtle beach xo one and xbox stereo headset.my question is do I need to update both adapters to my controller or do I just need to update just one and both headsets would work.bare in mine the xo one has the turtle
beach adaptor

 

unplug the headset from the controller and do a hard reset of the console by holding the power on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it from the out for a minute then plug back in and power back on the plug the headset back in and see
if it works
