    Turtle Beach X42's on Xbox One


    Finally bought that adapter so I could use chat with my Turtle Beaches or so I thought

    But I can't get them to work. My brother just has the normal head set that came with the Xbox. Well he can only hear me but I can never hear him. It's strange because I can send him a voice message but I can't hear what I recorded. Yet again he can hear
    my message.... Then sometimes out of the blue he can't hear me but I can hear him. The whole thing is just crazy

    Most of the time when I can hear him but it's only for a few seconds at the most. Do you guys have any idea? I've looked on the Turtle Beach website and it says you can use the 42's.

    Id appreciate any help

    What's the easiest way to connect my turtle beach x42's to my xbox one s controller?

    Can I use simple 2.5mm - 3.5 mm adapter or do I have to buy the xbox one stereo headset adapter kit?

    will my turtle beach x42's work on the new xbox one for game volume? what about game chat? both, neither, one, or the other? i think there a great headset i would hate to have to retire them.

    Also, on Turtle Beach forums, there are users that have the x42's and they are working with the adapter, just getting static, etc.

    Anyone got a Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 500X headset?

    Turtle beach has disgustingly poor with after sales support. The only options to contact them is via email not phone. With email they say expect up to 10 days and its only 9-5 they answer emails.

    Does this headset work with my xbox 360 slim console? When xbox one came out, they said the turtle beach x42 is only compatible with xbox 360 and not xbox one but my x42 works with xbox one just not the chat. Sonce both x42 and 500x use optical out port,
    game sound should work both on xbox 360 and xbox one.

    Retailers in australia and new zealand have high customer service expectations. Maybe turtle beach should work on their customer service. Turtle beaches distributors are qvc for australia and fiveight for new zealand.

    I specificallygot the X42's because Turtle Beach said those were compatible. Also my brother just purchased the new Turtle Beach XO ones or something like that. Came with the adapter, his doesn't work either.

    If my headset didn't work, then why can they hear me in the game?
