    Turtle Beach X42 Issues with Headset Adapter (did controller update)


    Hi all, the voice communication does not seem to be working on my X42s even with the controller update (tried on two different controllers, a standard XBOX One controller and a Scuf). Things I've tried:

    - Kinect is turned off (tried just turning off chat through kinect too)

    - Tried updating controller again (getting message that no updates are needed)

    -Rebooted XBOX, Controller, and Headset

    - Plugged in and out all of the connections

    When I'm fully plugged in, my chat icon shows that I have a mic plugged in but it never displays the yellow 'chatting' icon. I've double checked that it's not on mute (both on controller and on headset). Any ideas why it is not working?

    Xbox One - Controllers Disconnecting Intermittently

    Did anyone figure out the solution to this?

    My Xbox was running smooth for months, but since receiving the turtle beach adapter for my X42, I've had problems with my controller randomly disconnecting for about 5 seconds and also I've had Fifa 14 crash on me several times while using the headset.

    Is this definitely an issue with the headset/adapter and not the controller/game/console?

    What's the easiest way to connect my turtle beach x42's to my xbox one s controller?

    Can I use simple 2.5mm - 3.5 mm adapter or do I have to buy the xbox one stereo headset adapter kit?

    im having the same issue with mine but no luck so far. everything works great but others cant hear me. I can hear everyone else though.

    Controller disconnects often while playing Titanfall

    Same here. I'm using the Turtle Beach x42 headset and the chat adapter. It stays on but the screen reads it's disconnected. It happens to me during Titanfall and NBA 2K14 while playing coop with two controllers powerd on at the same time.
