    Turtle Beach X12 with Xbox One?


    After some thought and consideration that I'd like to try and avoid spending upwards of £100 on a next-gen headset, I'm wondering if I'd be able to find a loophole and use my X12s by any chance?

    My general thought is that I could convert the digital optical port to a Red/White and then use a headset adapter for my microphone. Would this work or is my grand master plan about to be blown out of the water?

    I'm UK based so if any product solutions are posted, can I ask that they're UK websites. Thanks very much.

    Hey Dynamic...

    I have X12's and they work just fine. Do you have a headphone jack on your tv? If so, plug the green audio Jack into your tv, and the MS adapter into the controller/inline amplifier for the headset as per usual. Voila!

    Just make sure you follow all the instructions for the update.

    Thanks for your help. I'd still be looking to connect straight through the Xbox as connecting through the jack may be a bit of hassle so I'll leave that area open to answering but that's great news.
