Turtle Beach X12 no bass with X1

Hi,

Title says it all, I have my Turtle Beach X12's with the Microsoft adapter. I have no bass playing from my headset. I have tried connecting the cords multiple different ways to get both the bass and voice to work.

With just the adapter, the headset is plugged into the controller, I have sound and voice, but no bass. No point in owning a headset if the bass does not work. By connecting the green male port directly into the headset adapter with the usb in the X1, I
have sound and bass, but obviously no voice. I have the red and white cables plugged into the tv, but I'm finding no way to connect them to the headset or X1 in this situation. Is there an equivalent to the 360 X12 setup for this?

I really hope my brain is just dysfunctional around this subject and the solution is quite simple.

Is there a way to boost the bass sound?

There is little bass to the audio for the xbox one headset adapter. I have turtle beach x12's and even set the bass boost all the way up but does barely anything. Any way I can change it?

I have the X12 TB and cant say a bad thing about them, the sound is quality more than enough bass and volume and clear chat , also noticed you are in the UK so you may want to have a look at this if you do want to go with the TBs

When I was in store and got mine when I put the code in the price was £10 cheaper than stated ?! but dont know if that will still be the same ?

I am having the exact same issue, no bass and a now redundant bass dial on the headset, I haven't managed to get any bass at all tho I haven't tried directly plugging the green port in. I have been on to Turtle Beach A LOT about this, and although they were
as helpful as they could be they don't have an answer, only to wait until the updates come through and see if that sorts the issue, they know they have an issue with it (Microsoft) but as yet no one has a solution. very annoying.

 

I had to hookup my Turtle Beach X12 to my TV (RCA jacks) and plug the mic into Xbox Controller adapter - Now it works with both 360 and One (just plug mic into controller I'm using)

Just remember to turn down volume when watching TV as that sound will come out also
