Turtle Beach X07 headset

Anyone else with this headset notice crackling and popping on the dashboard/games? Seems like an issue with the adapter because when I play music thru my iPod with them it sounds crystal clear and perfect. Would appreciate any feedback about this if anyone
with another headset has the same issue. Thanks.

Yes. Lots of people have the same problem. Some people have been waiting months for a fix but microsoft dont seem to be doing a lot about it. They just say they are aware of the problem and are looking into it.

Anyone else with X07 headset have static/popping when moving around on dashboard menu? Sounds terrible anyone else with any kind of static/popping comment so we can hopefully get this resolved.

 

I'm wondering if it is something to do with the Turtle Beach headset adapters. Thinking about buying the adapter separate to see if it changes anything. Doubt it though.

 

Ive bought a seperate adapter to use with my x07's and its still the same. Ive tried 3 different ones altogether and the problem is still there

 

I have the xo 7's and have the same problem. Whenever i scroll through the dashboard i hear a pop here and there. When I'm in like the title screen of destiny, I hear it constantly. Wirelessly, it stops the popping momentarily then it returns after a little
while. Wired, there is no stopping the popping/crackling. I tried plugging ipod earphones in to the adapter and the popping/crackling was still present. Which leads me to believe the problem IS the adapter. I also tried switching the wire, controller and yes
I did update my controller. I also tested my headset on my laptop and my phone. The sound is crystal clear. Microsoft find a fix for this!

 

This is the same for me and my official headset. I suspect it's going to be an issue with the firmware of the controller or worse still, a hardware fault with either the controller or headset adapter. MS are currently still working on a fix according to

Whether this will resolve it this time is another matter as we've heard it all before...
