    I can hear and speak to people in party. However, when I am not in a party I can only hear other people. Headset works but I think there is a setting I need to change so people can hear me during regular game mode.

    Are you using wireless Turtle Beach or a similar wireless head set? I was having the same problem too and after moving my turtle beach head said receiver the problem seemed to go away... for now.

    Do you have a wireless Turtle Beach or similar wireless head set in close proximity to your xbox? If so move the wireless headset receiver away from the xbox. Chances are the head set is running on 2.4MHz (xbox runs on 2.4MHz) and is interfering with your
    signal. If you are using Turtle Beach x32s this may not be your problem (x32s run on 5MHz)

    Help Please? WiFi Fantastic, but Xbox live extremely laggy?

    Setting up a manual IP address for your xbox sometimes helps these things as well.

    Were any other wireless devices added? Turtle Beach wireless head sets are notorious for causing wireless connection issues.
