    hi. I've recently had to buy I new transmitter for my xp400 turtle beach headsets as for some reason it died. This is not the first transmitter that has done this. In fact this will be my 3rd transmitter to date.

    I'm yet to find out why this happens tho some people say it is something to do with the Xbox one updates.

    Is this correct and has this problem been fixed yet as I don't want to buy yet another transmitter.

    Any help or advice would be appreciated

    I unplugged my Turtle Beach RF transmitter and it worked. I'm surprised that little thing was the issue. Thanks.

    DO you have a Turtle Beach or Madkatz wireless headset? If so, please unplug the transmitter from the console.

    This same happens with my two transmitters from xp510 and px51 both death and this happened on XBOX ONE X. One day they worked and the next day did not work anymore. I don't even know whats happens. Spend for each around 250 euro
    and now they are piece of crap. XBOX is still on warrant. Can i ask Microsoft for refund? They should, because they were connected to console via USB and look like and console broke them. Any advise from Microsoft site ??

    Xbox live problem

    Hey there - I believe the issue is a clash between your Xbox and the Turtle Beach transmitter. The White Xbox Wireless G adapter does not run at 5Ghz, only at 2.4Ghz B or G. Since the Turtle Beach transmitter runs at the same frequency, that would cause
    your disconnection issues. The Black "Wireless N" adapter is compatible with 5Ghz Wireless N networks. :)

    August Xbox One update has broken my Turtle Beach x42 transmitter.

    I've been through three XP400 transmitters that all died in exactly the same way, for no apparent reason, while connected to my One. Turtle Beach could not have been more helpful (transmitter was in warranty) and eventually offered me an upgrade to the XP510s.
    Excellent headphones. But.... Have had them a few weeks, flawless performance, go away for a few days and now the XP510 transmitter is also dead. While I was away, there was an update to the OS on the One? Coincidence?
