    Could anyone help me with connecting my headset, they are new but are working on other things. I've tried updating my controller but am abit lost after that to be honest. I have an xbox 1

    Thank you! Kindly follow the steps below:

    1. Plug the headset into the Xbox controller.

    2. While in the Home screen, press the Xbox button on the controller. Scroll down to the buttons on the bottom of the left sidebar, and then select the Speaker icon (Audio)

    3. Configure your settings as shown:

    Set Headset Volume to Maximum
    Set Headset Chat Mixer to the Middle Setting
    Set Mic Monitor to Preferred Level

    Hi there, thankyou for your reply. I've tried both. I tried my headset in my sons ps4 and works fine. I tried his head set in my xbox controller and his didn't work either, also tried another controller and nothing...I think it must be my settings somewhere along the lines I've got wrong...I've updated my controller but still nothing. I have headphone icon on so it knows it there but still nothing....🙃

    I've got it working by putting it in really slowly and the chat mixer went green but only one ear...
