    Turtle Beach Recon 70 Headset Issues


    Bought a pair of Turtle Beach Recon 70 headsets. Chat audio and Game audio does not come through the headset when I plug it into the 3.5mm jack on my newer, updated Xbox controller but both forms of audio comes through when I plug it into my older Xbox controller
    that I don't think is as updated as the newer one. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I have also contacted Turtle Beach as well to figure out the issue.

    Another problem is the volume dial. When I go to adjust the volume on the headset itself, I often lose audio in the left ear phone but keep it in the right one. I have to finesse the volume dial into place in order to hear it out of both ear phones. Anyone
    else having this issue? Are my settings right?

    To successfully set up your headset on Xbox One, refer to these guides for your specific model:

    If you still experience any audio issues even after verifying all the settings are correct, then go through the troubleshooting steps here:

    You can also install the Turtle Beach Control Center to update the headset firmware, which would address and resolve most errors, as well as improve overall performance. This app is available on Xbox One, Series X|S and PC. More info with the status on the latest update versions here:

    Headset doesn't work

    Thanks for your reply. I have turtle beach recon 70. We only use bateries so the controllers are not plugged in. The new controller is only a week old. Same as the headset.
