    Turtle Beach PX5 on Xbox One, Volume too low.


    So iv owned a PX5 headset since the xbox 360 days. I picked up the chat adapter and got around to connecting it all to my xbox one.

    I connect the digital cable from the transmitter to the xbox one and power it all on. I go to settings and change the audio settings to bitstream and then to dobly digital. I hear audio in my headset but VERY VERY low.

    the headset has a feature that it turns off after 10 minutes of no like in game audio acitivy and it keeps doing that thinking its not connected even with the UNPLAYABLE low volume coming out of it

    one thing to note. The transmitter im using for the PX5 is not my orignal transmitter i got this one on ebay since my old one broke

    Hi guys

    i have turtle beach px5 headset and i use it on my new xbox one; i used this headset on ps3 before and the sound was more louder than now; I've linked the receiver of the headphone to the xbox one through optical audio but when i play cod ghosts, the volume
    is lower then system sound, voice chat and then the volume game when i was on ps3...and obviously also footsteps are lower then before.

    when i played on ps3 i put the volume of headphone on half, now instead i've to put it on max level!!!

    Is it because optical audio works only with stereo sound for now while my px5 are dolby 7.1??

    Will xbox one have Bluetooth adapters so they will be capatable with expensive turtle beaches such xbox 360 version of Turtle Beach Black 2: Tango and Px5

    It largely depends on what sort of price-range you're looking at. If money is no obstacle (you lucky smegger) then I'd go with the Turtle Beach PX5's without hesitation. If not, then almost any of the low range Turtle Beach sets are still superb value for
    money!

    The PX5's are compatible with the Xbox 360 and the PS3. This comes from Turtle Beach's website and mine say "Xbox Mode" evertyime I turn them on. Not sure why you are having a lower volume on the One. Hopefully we will receive an update to the One in the
    future to address the issue.
