Turtle Beach PX4 - Game Audio cutting out

Hi

I purchased the PX4s just over a month ago and I have been having issues where especially in Destiny as this is pretty much all I have been playing where at times the game audio is cutting in and out and at times just stops for a few seconds.

Normally after a bit of cutting out it goes fine again but happens multiple times

So far what I have done is:

1. Contactedd Turtle Beach support who gave me instructions to make sure I had them setup correctly for the Xbox One and also making sure that my headphones were paired right with the receiver which they are.

2. My controller and stereo headset adapter are all updated

3.Tried my headset out on a bluray player and appeared to be working fine there

Turtle Beach Support have recommended that I speak to Microsoft as it appears to be Xbox One related.

Has anyone else had issues with their PX4s with audio cutting out?

I managed to get some Turtle Beach PX4 and bought the adapter.

Best Turtle beaches i have had to date.

Mate has the Official headset and its ok but nothing special IMO.

 

Yes I also expierience this Issue, but not so much often as before...

I have the Original XBOX 1 Stereo Headset, and I can tell you it is not a failure of the Headset..

It must be a failure of Transmission of the Audio Signal...

So it is not a harware failure of the HEadset itself,,

It is a failure of the Adapter or the Transmission from xbox... or the Powermanagement of Controller...

It^s a known Issue

 

Mine are cutting out as well. I also have PX4's.

I think it is now a Little bit better, but still happens from time to time...

I think Destiny was the worst, but now it is better slightliy.

with my original XBOX ONE Stereo Headset..

 

I'm having the same problem with PX4s. They work perfectly on my PS4, and they work fine on my Xbox One until I plug them into the headset adapter so I can chat. Then they just start cutting off all the time. Not impressed after having to spend £19 on the
adapter.

 

I believe it is Problem of Signaltransmission from Console to Controller?

I never understood that when the sound stops also disconnects the controller?

 

So is anyone looking into this, to maybe give us a solution? You know, seeing as we spent money on the adapter in the first place. Call me old fashioned, but I expect things I spend money on to actually work properly.

 

Same problem here, sound cuts out on xbox one. I use the same headset on my 360 and they work perfectly so far(only had them a few days) just seems to be on xbox one games. Have a word with yourself Microsoft, these bad boys plus the adaptor cost enough
so sort it.

I picked up the PX4 over Christmas and just got around to trying them out. Initially experienced the same problems as most have described here.

To resolve the issue, I upgraded the controller software while leaving the PX4 + Adapter and chat cable plugged in. After the update, I'm no longer seeing sound cut off sporadically. However, there was still some echo'ing of the sound etc. This appears
to happen primarily due to the fact that the game audio is transmit to the PX4 wirelessly and then again from the adapter (on controller). The simplest solution was to first turn down the PX4 volume via the dial on the headset, and then hit the chat-audio
button (bottom left) on the adapter until it was maxed out (thus cutting out all game audio from controller completely). The volume controls on the adapter still let you control the chat volume independantly... so you can now use that to adjust it to your
liking. Next, adjust the game volume via the dial on the headset and you're done.

Chat audio and game audio appears to be working perfectly after the above procedure.
