turtle beach microphone isn't picked up in party/game

I was mid raid in Destiny when my mic stopped picking up my voice. I have Turtle Beach PX22's. I have tried their troubleshooting methods and nothing. I have tried microsoft's troubleshooting methods, also nothing.

I have replaced the controller (a newer black one with the 3.5mm input) with a brand new white one, replaced the xbox chat adapter with a turtle beach adapter, replaced my old PX22's with brand new PX22's (the wires were pulled out slightly on the old pair),
replaced the talkback cable, replaced the cable for the chat adapter.

I tried the freebie chat headset that came with my xbox and they work (sometimes), I tried earbuds with a mic and it worked (not well, chat very low and game was loud). I disconnected the PX22 headset from the inline amp with volume controls and plugged
in the 3.5mm wire straight into the controller and it worked.

I have traded each piece around to see if anything worked in any combination and nothing. I have even tried changing which usb port I connect the headset into (1 on side, 2 in the back) and still nothing. I have tried to update the controllers but they
say they are up to date and finish the update bar. I have played around with the xbox settings, I have an open NAT, I have hard reset the xbox, I have restarted my router.

I have come to the conclusion that the issue isn't hardware breaking down (after spending $125 (sale prices, btw)on stuff) (my first issue two years ago was a shoddy microsoft xbox chat adapter that broke after 4 months, which is why I replaced it first
this time), it seems the issue is the xbox hates the inline amp on my turtle beach headset. The microphone is picked up in a party and sound works so long as I just use the headset part.

I'd be grateful for any help at this point, because the only thing I haven't replaced is the Xbone itself.

Microphone issue on xbox app with windows 10

When I am in an Xbox live party my microphone shows always active but is not picking up my voice. My friends, also in the party chat, tell me they hear a loud, high pitched static noise. My microphone works just fine in other voice chats, game chats, etc.
without changing any wiring from my headset to the computer. I'm using an Xbox one turtle beach headset connected to an audio/microphone splitter into the computer. I've also tried changing devices in the party chat settings to no avail.

 

Turtle beach 420x headset

anyone have the turtle beach 420x wireless headset and have problems with microphone not working. I can hear everyone in the party but they can't hear me.
