    Turtle Beach Headset (Xbox One). Need Advice??


    Hi, I thinking about buying the Turtle Beach X12 tomorrow for my Xbox One. I'm aware that they require an Xbox controller amplifier in order to use the chat function.

    However my question is:-

    My Xbox One is using HDMI in and there isn't an audio out on any of the HDMI channels.

    In the setup diagram I found below, it instructs you to split the green cable into a left/right audio channels, if I was to plug the green cable into my headphone socket on my TV will I get game volume or does it need to be split?

    Turtle Beach

    Hi all. Just purchased the Turtle Beach 30x cheap Headset for my Xbox one not realising that it needs a new Xbox controller (didn't realise there was a new controller) to plug directly into.

    In the Turtle Beach instructions it says to purchase the Ear Force Headset Audio Controller so I can plug the head set into that then that into the controller.

    My question at last is, will the official headset adapter for Xbox work with the Turtle Beach instead of their Audio Controller.

    It needs to be split because of the audio channels. You might get volume of the tv but I wouldn;t recommend doing it that way.

    I went ahead and tried it without the split and as the headset is only in stereo, it worked fine. It's also a tiny bit clearer without the split. Cheers for the advice. =)

    Return those X12's. They aren't any good. If you want an amazing cheap headset, get the Sennheiser X320.

    Turtle Beach x12 Headset Does Not Receive Audio

    Turtle Beaches currently are not compatible with the Xbox One.

    Turtle Beach are working on making Xbox one headsets.

    I use the X11`s and find them very good,they are comfy when worn on long hours of game play (although your ears may get warm) & the sound quality is good.

    As for the wiring yes it is long so you have no worry about adaptability,if you sit near the HD/TV like myself you can by wire wraps and tidy the excess wire up.

    I would buy the TB x11`s as you can not go wrong for your money,I bought them when they were 37.99 so I would grab them while they are at 30 pounds.

    i've just got x11s they were £30 free delivery on amazon. There's a couple of cables but they're very long so no issues if sitting a normal distance away from the screens :) so far so good. There's a slight buzzing if using a plug and charge kit (or on mine
    and according to google according to a few) so if he's using rechargeable battery packs then there will probabaly be a noise just whilst it's charging (if using the usb charger attached to the xbox) but this isn't an issue when using the controller wirelessly

    If you can go for the X4's wireless and surround sound, the price has come down, I got mine from the Tesco site for £75 quid. And no you dont need to keep changing batteries, a set lasts for about 20 hours of gaming (two sets of rechargables and happy
