Turtle beach headset stopped working

sons head set has stopped working. Turtle beach recon 50 x using with wireless remote. Was working fine for ages. Now has a symbol of a mic with a line through it in top right of screen and yellow triangle with exclamation mark in it near profile pic.
Also get message saying that we were uable to find microphone for these people. Headset works on friends controller but no on ours so I know it's not the headset. Any ideas please? Have tried changing batteries and a hard reset. Also have checkes settigs
and they all seem to be on allow or everybody. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreicated. Thank you

Turtle Beach x12 Headset Does Not Receive Audio

Turtle Beaches currently are not compatible with the Xbox One.

Turtle Beach are working on making Xbox one headsets.

Turtle Beach Recon 50x headset stopped working on XB1 controller

I was listening to a podcast this morning and out of the blue my turtle beach headset stopped working. i plugged other headsets into the controller and they all work. Headset works on my phone/tablet.

Tried a hard start of the console and nothing. Ran tests and nothing.

Thoughts?

Sounds like the port on the controller if it works on another controller, I would also double check you headset setting on your Xbox just to be sure.

most of the time audio via usb is not supported on xbox, you could get one of those turtle beach headsets with a base station that plug into optical but not sure how that works really as never owned one.

i did use a turtle beach adapter which stopped all interference though, that plugs into controller and headset into that, they work quite well.

Also to add, the headsets i'm using are a Turtle Beach Recon Chat White headset and a Turtle Beach Stealth 450. Both of which work on other sources.

get the polk audio headsets when they come out 2/1 designed to work with games. they look way better than the turtle beach headsets and who the heck knows when turtle beach and ms will get together to get the old headsets to work as intended.
