Turtle Beach Headset Causes Interference and makes Xbox one internet SLOW!!!

I checked my router settings, my AP settings, wondering why my pos xbox sucked the internet (50 down) when it was on. I read Bonus Monkeys comment on the Turtle Beach Head set and thought, no way. I have a different model but i unplugged them and bam. Internet
problem fixed. I do not know why, never had an issue with my PS3, psvitas, WIIU and ouya. I am just glad to find out what it was, it was driving me nuts. It made the internet come to a halt when the headsets and the xbox one was on.

There's no maintenance underway to cause that problem.





The "white premium model" is not a 360s, it is a 360. It uses an external wireless adapter.



Is there a MadKatz or Turtle Beach wireless headset transmitter plugged into that while console? Those devices use the same frequencies as WiFi but they are not WiFi so they cause interference and can jam WiFi to cause the exact symptoms and the error
code 80072EE2 you described. Please remove the MadKatz or Turtle Beach transmitter if there's one plugged into the Xbox.



Other things can cause wireless interference as well, but those wireless headsets (those and other brands) are Wireless Enemy Number One.

 

Gta V problems?

Have you tried restarting your router? Whenever people drop out of parties its usually a connection issue or interference with something. So maybe if you have turtle beaches or gaming headset that has a receiver... make sure that receiver is not on top of
your xbox cause it will interfere with the connection.

So try restarting your router, make sure there is no interference such as a gaming headset receiver good luck

 

That doesn't make any sense... My wireless TB headset (x42) works just fine with my connection...

 

I'm sure the 2.4ghz or 5ghz frequency is close to my access points... Although I'm not 100 percent sure. Mine is a x41 earlobe.
