    Turtle beach headset adapter wont mute


    My Xbox One Turtlebeach stereo headset adapter wont mute. When I press the mute button it doesnt light up and doesnt mute me. But when I hold it down it does turn on mic monitoring meaning the button isnt faulty. I have updated the controller with the adapter in, reset the xbox, took out the batteries, unplugged the adapter and plugged it back in. It still doesn't work with other controllers and headsets.

    Xbox One Wireless Headset.

    Turtle Beach and other headset manufacturers are working with MS to put out adapters that will make you able to use your new/old wireless/wired headsets. I think turtle beach will also be releasing new wireless headsets as well. I believe the dates they
    are giving for the new headsets and adapters is February.

    Stereo Headset Adapter and Turtle Beach X12

    Your Turtle Beach X12 headset used an USB for power, and also has controls for sound levels. The Stereo Headset Adapter has only an 3.5 mm, 4 pole, Audio jack for phone plug. The adapter has Controls include volume up/down, microphone mute, and game/chat
    balance. I would say buy another headset, MS has one for 79.99 with adapter.
