    Turtle Beach Headset Adapter not detecting Mic input


    Has anyone recently had any issues with their TB Headset Adapter lately? I am in the preview program running version 6.2.13332.0

    The adapters mic monitoring feature works fine, but the xbox does not register that I have a headset connected and nobody can hear me. This issue happens with multiple controllers (all updated).

    - All Cables have been reseated

    - Microphone on headset works on my phone

    - Full audio comes through headset

    I'm just curious if anyone else has the adapter and is having the same issue before I ask Turtle Beach for a new adapter. I also tried a hard reset.

    As was said, just the same headphones branded for X1 with an adapter. Now, if the Sevens are in my price range at launch I'll still get em, but for other people who might already have a set of either earphones these are based on, there's no point the way

    Xbox One Adapter game and chat volume the same?

    its all in the details my head setted friends..

    microsoft is aware of the adapter issue.. some people are having issues mostly with in game chatt but non on skype,and such...

    quite a few posts on the asto headset forums about it. along with turtle beach and such. astro says they found a firmware fix that should go live next week. it will only be applied to the a50 and pro2013 edition.

    microsoft is also aware of the adapter issues across the board and is working on it as well. this was the same issues with ps4 with headset integration.

    Xbox One Headset Adapter Problems

    I have a turtle beach px21 headset and purchased the xbox one headset adapter. The stereo sound is coming through really well, but the mic isn't working with it. Is this a known issue or is my headset mic not compatible with the xbox one?

    Mic won't work

    I am having the same problem. I've tried both a Skull Candy headset connected with XBox brand adapter AND a Turtle Beach Headset with Turtle Beach adapter. I can OCCASIONALLY get the mic to function, but after I turn the XBox off and on again, it often
    doesn't work. I can hear myself in the mic, BUT the mic icon next to my name in XBox Live pre-game lobby screen won't indicate that it is picking up any volume.

    How best to keep a headset for Xbox One

    I don't think they're "making" so much as the adapters aren't ready and it seems the third parties do not want to support the digital audio output on the controller. This is all for mic chat, though (far as I'm aware). Regular headset audio (no mic) works
    fine and won't be changing. There are many headsets that support optical input on their base units, including Tritton, Astro, and Turtle Beach.

    this is my last hope. in desperate need of help.

    on xbox i just use my trusty turtle beach xo4 or xo7 pro headsets, good mic, the pro has awsome mic monitoring and thumping sound, but i do use the turtle beach adapter with sound settings, the xbox audio controls when plugged directly into the controller
    are horrid.
