Turtle beach headphones help

so i used my new TB headset last night for the first time in party chat and had the same problem.

The way i solved it was to repeatedly press the chat button on the adaptor (not the + and - keys) This lowered the game sound and raised the chat level.

Took me a while to figure out so maybe this is something you have not tried?

 

Though the chat function worked for me from the get go it was a few tries before I figured out how the Game / Chat balance worked and was able to manage my volumes correctly.

 

yeh i realised that the + and - keys control overall volume. The game and chat buttons control the balance between game sound and chat sound.

It was nice not being able to hear Genchy for a minute or two tho

 

Yer all up and running now guys it's what boas said. Didn't realise the adaptor on the left hand side was balance between the two so I was just turning the game volume through the headphones to max, all working now

Even better that there wasn't actually a fault with your stuff.

Don't feel bad about mixing up the balance. Like Boas and me said before it had us flummoxed for a while as well.
