Turtle beach headphones help

Hello

I have recently bought an Xbox one and are experiencing a problem with party chat through the turtle beach earforce x41. I purchased the adaptor that you need to connect to the new controllers. The sound is working fine but when in group chat the other people
in the party can hear me and it shows the mic working but I cannot hear them. Any advice would be much appreciated.

how long the headphone jacks for turtle beach headsets?

 

The Turtle Beach Headsets come with a Controller to USB adaptor.

You need to connect this up, go to "Settings" and "Updates" and select "Update Controller".

Once you've done this they should work fine.

After this also, to be sure you're not accidentally in game chat or having a game that's messing up you should try party chat while you have no game disc inserted.

Thanks for your help but still no luck. The headset is sending sound back but no sound from the party or microphone

its because the xbox hasn't linked your profile with you controller, go to the dashboard, go to the login bit at the top, find your profile and click choose this person.

Thanks guys but still no luck, I've re-connected everything to the Xbox and unit , I've tried updating controller and also assigned the controller to my profile but still nothing, will have to contact turtle beach

 

Game sound works . Mic not compatible, have to use Kinect( if have one) . I had this problem with mine till realised I had to upgrade.

 

Taken from TB website sorry if this is what you have already tried -

1. Go to Settings > Display & Sound > Optical Audio, Select "Bitstream Out"

2. Go to Settigns > Display & Sound > Bitstream Format, Select "Dolby Digital"

3. Press the Chat Balance button on the Xbox one Stereo Headset Adapter until you hear a tone.

 

I've done that and still no luck with group chat, all the other sound comes through fine , I've checked on TB website and it say it is compatible, I will have to try dog deeper or just get a new headset

 

Contact their Customer Support and they should be able to offer more help.

Sorry if give you wrong info, just I had same problem,guess didn't look into it as much as should an decided to get some others instead. Let us know how you get on thou as interested myself.
