    Turtle Beach Earforce kilo Black ops II (360) The mic doesn't work w/ adapter for Xbox One


    I purchased these a couple weeks ago along with the adapter and proper cables. I updated my controller so the sound works great but, not mic. I can hear myself through the mic but in a party. I checked all my settings and nothing is muted or private. I tried
    turning my device off and unplugging it and a few other troubleshooting options but still nothing. I am unsure what to do here.

    Is there a headset compatible with Xbox 360 and Xbox One?

    I'm planning on buying a Xbox One but I want to know if my headset will work on it I have a Turtle Beach Earforce x42, if I buy the headset adapter, will that let me use the microphone? Will I be able to hear game sound and use the mic of an Xbox 360 headset
    with an Xbox One adapter?

    Xbox One Headset Adapter and Turtle Beach Earforce DX11

    I have the headset adapter but can't get my Turtle Beach Earforce DX11 mic to work. The game and chat audio through the headset works fine. The headset works fine with the 360 so I'm not sure if I need an extra adapter of some kind. I have it connected to
    the xbox one via digital audio out on the xbox one (page 11 in the manual linked below) and connected to the control through the 2.5mm to 3.5mm cord and the headset adapter (like in page 7). Mic doesn't work. Any ideas?

    I would think you should be ok If the headset isn't acting irregular now. You could also go directly to the manufacturers website and check directly with them.

    I am having the same problem. I've tried both a Skull Candy headset connected with XBox brand adapter AND a Turtle Beach Headset with Turtle Beach adapter. I can OCCASIONALLY get the mic to function, but after I turn the XBox off and on again, it often
    doesn't work. I can hear myself in the mic, BUT the mic icon next to my name in XBox Live pre-game lobby screen won't indicate that it is picking up any volume.
