Turtle Beach Ear Force PX4 Headset

I've been in the market for a wireless headset I can use with all of my consoles and my TV. This isn't a necessity so I am keeping my budget around $100 or $150 at the max. After doing some looking around I narrowed it down to the Turtle Beach PX4. Unfortunately,
there is a bit of a limited amount of answers on the internet about some of the specifics and I hate to buy them hook them up and then have to return them. If anyone is familiar with this headset or another Turtle Beach headset I would love some help.

Instead of connecting the digital audio out from the console to the wi-fi transmitter can I just use the digital audio out on my TV? Will this allow sound from any source to play through the headset? Is the USB cable connected to the wi-fi transmitter strictly
for power? Or does it have to be connected to the console that is currently being used?

I did have the turtle beach x41's about a year ago but they interfered with my router so I sold them.

I've used alot of different headsets (Turtle Beaches, Astros, Tritons, Microsoft), and for Halo and CoD, I'd reccomend buying Turtle Beaches. I'm not sure about Forza, as I don't have much experience in that game (And by that, I mean none at all), but
my experience with FPSs, Turtle Beaches are best for quality and price. XP500s are incredible, but I'd recommend getting Turtle Beach X42s. They're $160 USD, Have great specs, and a reasonable price. If you can't afford X42, X32s will work just fine.

Yes, you can use the digital audio out on your TV and everything you would normally hear on your TV you will hear on your headset.

Yes, the USB is for power.
