turtle beach 800x and skype

Hi guys,

I have the turtle beach elite 800x hooked up to the xbox and I love it. The only problem I am finding now is that when I want to skype with the family. The sound and mic only come through the head set and not through the kinect and speakers. Is there a workaround
this? I am stumped and havent been able to find a solution.

Chat mixer dissapeared

is it in settings now cause mine did that also and i found it in settings when i synced my Turtle beach elite 800x for 100% wireless or maybe cause i also have settings on a phone app for turtle beach.

 

This is actually a long going issue. The solution is, its either one or the other not two at the same time. I spent a good while myself trying to do this with my astro 's with no luck. Sorry I couldnt help more

 

hi thanks for the reply, its such a basic function that should be a part of the makeup of skype! what do you do then? do you completely unplug your headphones from the console when using skype?

 

Yep that's what you got to do. It's in the works for a while to get sorted. For when that is your guess is as good as mine.
