    turtle Beach 50X Headset not working on XBOX ONE S


    Bought a new Turtle Beach 50x headset for xbox one s. Mic icon is crossed out. Most advice online says adjust volume in settings, but it won't let me select volume under settings /devices. The headset works, I've tried it on my phone. I just cannot
    get it to work on xbox one. Any ideas? Thanks..

    I was using the Tritton Kama headset and then yesterday I purchased the Turtle Beach Recon 50x headset and they didn't work. Yes I did try to reset my network.

    I have the turtle beach elite x800 headset and you have to set them up exactly as turtle beach says in the guide. Here is the guide for your headset:

    I have tested others, the controller I was using before that was secondhand which has now broken worked no problem with no static.

    The headset is Turtle Beach Recon 50x.

    is there something on the back of the package that would clue me in on of game volume will be available before I blow money on another one?
    You'll never get any game volume/audio on the Turtle Beach Chat Recon Headset, its for chat only,

    For chat and game audio you need something like the Turtle Beach Recon 50X Headset.
