turns on then off one x

nope screen stays black, the disc drive still works for the few seconds it's on , could it be a faulty psu?

hi yes I've tried all info on google and microsoft nothing seems to but I've just booked it in for repair get it diagnosed, but thank you all for the info

I think its the best option

A couple of things to check..

Firstly if you have the console plugged into a power board, plug it into a separate wall socket by itself.

Secondly, check the ventilation holes for dust accumulation and clean them. Dust is very noticeable on a black console, might not be easy to see with a white console.

I vacuum clean mine, but only when the console is turned off and unplugged from power.

Power cycle and then check for any updates
