Turning on Xbox One console but it says “you’ll need internet for this”

So I was going to turn on my Xbox One like Thursday *February 13, 2020* about 4:56 PM EST. Then when I was in the home screen, it says “You’ll need internet for this” even though my modem is working fine on my phone and other devices but while my console
is turned on and trying to connect to the modem *im using wireless* internet on other devices like my phone loses internet. Please help ASAP

I have been having the same issue with my Xbox One S. I do a manual system reboot and it seems to fix the problem. I have both of my Xbox's hardwired.

Hi! Silly question but have you tried a modem restart? If that doesnt work, Head over to settings then over to network. You want to click on advanced and alternate MAC address. Click on clear. This will require a console restart.
