    turning off console

    It is perfectly fine to turn off the Xbox while a game is on.

    It gives you that error so that hopefully you will be to busy to wait on hold for an xbox live agent. Then you will forget about the whole issue and when you least expect it and can't afford it they can charge you 64.17, and then deny you a refund when you
    ask. Finally customer support will hang up on you. Atleast thats my experience. Merry Christmas

    Thank you for contacting Forum support!

    I've had a similar issue like this before and it turned out my power supply was dead ( ；´Д`）,but make use to test out other outlets!

    [*]I suggest to try troubleshooting the console operating system by performing a
    soft factory reset and keeping games and apps

    Note: Before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles and have a stable internet connection.

    I´ve done this, everything is ok, console starts up, but for a while, after few minutes it turns off again

    Thank you for keeping us updated. Is the console an Xbox One, Xbox One S or Xbox One X? The console must be plugged directly to the wall to function correctly. If the console is still experiencing this issue after utilizing the troubleshooting steps we all
    provided, the console may need to be repaired. The Microsoft Hardware website is where customers can register their devices and create repair orders for them. The
    Xbox Support Team is also able to assist with repairs. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Hey RylieWestbrook,

    It sounds like you may have a issue with the console not properly cooling(if it's getting hot), here is the link to the support website, for assistance. If there is no indication that the xbox is powering off (Timer, Sleep Mode, Etc.) with an automatic shut
    down, usually means its a cooling/Internal issue. Also try using different power cord to make sure you're getting the correct current to your console.
