Turn off XBox one with SmartScreen

Any trick to turning of the Xbox One with SmartScreen. Have held down the "Nexus" button on the remote for about 5 seconds and then click the "A". Nothing happens.

Live TV streaming from xbox one to another xbox one

Hello,

I'm wondering if its possible to stream the live TV signal from an xbox one with tuner, to another xbox one on the same network like you can do with a windows 10 pc with smartscreen.

Or....do I have to get another tuner/antenna set.

Hey there saintlouisclone!

Sorry to hear about the SmartGlass issue! Which OS are you using for SmartGlass? When you hold down the the 'Home button' on the remote, did you swipe up to select power off? When you press 'A' right after holding down the 'Home button', it defaults to cancel.
Try swiping up to highlight the power off button, and then select A.

Try that and if tthat doesn't help, be sure to post back with what OS version you are using for SmartGlass!

I´v got the same problem on my Xbox one s 2tb. if i connect to the console with Xbox smartscreen from win10 or android i can start apps on the Xbox, but Edge is the onky app working at the moment, all else gives black screen

SmartScreen on Xbox consoles is primarily used in the Microsoft Edge browser, as it is a filter that helps protect users from sites that are reported to host phishing attacks or distribute malicious software through socially engineered attacks (please note that Xbox consoles cannot be infected with viruses or malware, so this would only apply to phishing on these devices, and also, it's not possible to download anything from Microsoft Edge on Xbox consoles).
